About the Role
We are looking for a skilled WordPress Theme Developer to join RaisTheme. You will be responsible for developing high-quality, modern, and performance-optimized WordPress themes. This role is ideal for someone who understands both design and development, and enjoys creating flexible, user-friendly themes for a global audience.
Responsibilities
- Develop custom WordPress themes from scratch
- Convert Figma and PSD designs into fully functional WordPress themes
- Ensure themes are responsive, fast, and SEO-friendly
- Customize themes using Elementor and other page builders
- Optimize code for performance and clean structure
- Maintain, update, and improve existing themes
- Ensure compatibility with popular plugins and WordPress standards
- Debug and fix issues related to themes and layouts
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of WordPress theme development
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Experience with Elementor or similar page builders
- Ability to convert design files into pixel-perfect themes
- Understanding of WordPress coding standards and best practices
- Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Basic knowledge of Git and version control
- Strong attention to detail and clean coding practices
Nice to Have
- Experience with WooCommerce integration
- Knowledge of Advanced Custom Fields (ACF)
- Familiarity with Gutenberg block development
- Experience with performance optimization and SEO
- Understanding of UI/UX principles
